Collecting Background: The Armstrong Primary School became involved in Forest Schools in 2018/19 and training commenced with NIFSA in Autumn 2018..

The Armstrong Primary School is a vibrant, flourishing school where children are valued as individuals and given every opportunity to thrive. Through the website you will be given an indication of the wide range of activities provided for children attending the school together with the enthusiasm of the children as they avail of opportunities offered.

At The Armstrong Primary School there is a strong focus on teaching and learning in every year group, set within effective pastoral structures. In addition to classroom based activities the school offers a wide range of extra-curricular activities to suit every interest!

The Armstrong as the school is affectionately known- is a very special school highly regarded across the Armagh community and provides a rich, varied and successful learning environment.

Team Forest School setting: The grounds at The Armstrong Primary School are ideal for outdoor learning. There are mature hedgerows and trees at the back of the school building. We have a minibeast area and sheltered teaching area.
