Volunteers wanted: We welcome volunteers helping with our Forest School programme.

Preparing Background: We secured a Forest School Award in 2017/18 from the Public Health Agency. We used our Eco-Garden in the school grounds. The pupils really loved their Forest School sessions and we hope to involve the whole school in the coming years.

Discussing Forest School setting: Welcome to Maghaberry Primary School and Nursery Unit. Whether you already have a child at Maghaberry or if this is your first association with us you are equally welcome. Maghaberry Primary School has earned an excellent reputation over the years, largely due to the wonderful partnerships that we enjoy between our pupils, staff, parents and governors, who together create a culture within the school community which is safe, caring and nurturing. The children are, of course, at the very centre of what we do. We provide a wide range of engaging and exciting learning experiences, both inside and outside of the classroom and our staff seek to be creative and innovative in the delivery of the curriculum, whilst maintaining very high standards of performance. We are justifiably proud of our pupils! Behaviour within the school is exceptional as our children consistently demonstrate the highest standards of manners, personal conduct and self-discipline. This is regularly acknowledged by visitors to our school and by those who host our children on educational trips and visits. Maghaberry Primary School is proud to be involved with the Forest School Awards the benefits are huge for our pupils and help to make our school an excellent school for pupils, parents and local community.
